How to Install a Snorkel on a Honda Rancher (2014–Present)

How to Install a Snorkel on the Rancher 420

Both kits come with detailed instructions, but here's the general process so you know what to expect before you order:

1. Remove the seat and front plastics to access the airbox and route the snorkel pipe
2. Seal the airbox using the included airbox sealant — this is critical to prevent water from entering through any gaps
3. Route the snorkel pipe from the airbox up through your chosen path (center or side) to your desired height
4. Secure the pipe with the included brace and hardware
5. Install the vent with tee at the top of the pipe to allow airflow while keeping water out
6. Apply dielectric grease to all electrical connections near the work area as a moisture barrier and be sure to run your vent lines
7. Reassemble plastics and seat, then test with a low water crossing before going deep
